T004B010 Geology

Geology is a branch of natural sciences that studies the structure of the Earth, rocks and minerals, as well as their weathering processes. During the course, students learn to identify Lithuanian parent rocks, understand the factors of soil formation and soil classification. They gain knowledge about the composition, properties, and structure of soils and sediments. Students become familiar with key geological processes, learn to recognize processes occurring within the soil, and select appropriate solutions for their management.
