This course introduces students to professional English used in engineerring contexts. It develops the ability to use terminology and lexical structures characteristic of engineering English when communicating in the field of electrical and electronic engineering, including automotive electronics. Students learn to evaluate, interpret, and systematise technical information, as well as to prepare and deliver illustrated oral presentations on professional topics.
This course aims to enhance reading, writing and speaking skills in scientific and technical terminology, as well as speaking about the future job and work, engineering achievements and technologies, provide functional knowledge of English, develop professional vocabulary and acquire correct usage of engineering language to meet speciality goals.
